DMCA Copyright Policy

1. Our Commitment 

Frideye complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable international copyright laws.  We are committed to responding promptly to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement. 

2. What Constitutes Copyright Infringement? 

Copyright infringement occurs when a copyrighted work is reproduced, distributed, performed, publicly displayed, or made into a derivative work without the permission of the copyright owner. Examples include using proprietary product images without authorization or copying original website text. 

3. Submitting a DMCA Notice 

If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof, and you believe that any content on the Frideye website infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA by providing our team with the following information in writing: 

1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed. 
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. 
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, along with the specific URLs to help us locate the material. 
4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address. 
5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. 
6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed. 

4. Where to Send DMCA Notices

Subject Line: MUST include “DMCA Notice” 

5. Review and Takedown Process 

Once a properly formatted DMCA notice is received, Frideye will take the following actions: 

• Investigate the claim promptly. 
• Remove or disable access to the infringing material. 
• Notify the content provider, user, or supplier who provided the allegedly infringing material that we have removed or disabled access to it. 

6. Repeat Infringers 

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, Frideye has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, the accounts of users or suppliers who are deemed to be repeat infringers.

7. False Claims 

Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.

8. Policy Updates

Frideye reserves the right to modify or amend this DMCA Policy at any time. You are encouraged to review this page periodically for any updates.
